Job description

This position is supervised by the Workshop Unit Coordinator or floor Supervisor whom is responsible for efficient operation of the bag machines. The bag machine Lead must be able to operate machinery in compliance with OSHA and the Agency Safety Standards. The Lead will work the hours assigned (M-F 11:00pm-7:00 am and they are responsible for the bag packers packaging good quality bags and bag counts are correct and the boxes have the correct labels, etc. It is also the job of the Lead to notify the floor supervisor of any discrepancy with the finished bag product. The Lead will be expected to complete and all other duties deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

• Ability to comply with safety requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to work cooperatively and professionally with all agency staff on a consistent basis.
• Possess an understanding of human development and motivation
• Must be able to provide own transportation to and from work.
• Ability to represent this agency in a positive and professional manner.
• Ability and willingness to address unscheduled emergency job responsibilities during non-work/personal time in a positive manner
• Must be able to accept and adapt to unscheduled changes in routine(s), rules, regulations, procedures, etc., in a positive and consistently competent manner.
• Willingness and ability to maintain accurate, timely records. (daily paper work)
• Agrees to attend training and in-service workshops as requested.
• Have at least one consecutive full year of employment work history
• Must be able to record, write, and speak the English language in a correct, consistent, and understandable manner.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be in good general health, and have personal integrity. The operator must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
• Must be able to follow oral and or written instructions
• Must be able to effectively and competently operate equipment/machines.

Qualifications:

Must:

Be at least 18 years of age

• Must be able to pass a state police background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screen (cannabis is accepted).
• Have the ability to comply with safety requirements
• High School graduate or GED required
• Must be able to work cooperatively and professionally with all agency staff on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to provide own transportation to and from work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
